It would not be a proper first day of vacation without me awakening at my normal time on a Saturday morning.  Dear ones, I am up and stirring about at 6:00 A.M.  I plan to take it easy today reading some novels and relaxing.  I don’t have any major new recipes to try, but I’ll let you know how things progress.  Please take care, and enjoy your vacation time.  Merry Christmas!
