If you are absent, please come in and take the test on Monday after school to keep the information fresh in your mind. I’ll go over the review in class and then have another review activity for you. Bring pencils to school. If you can remember to bring your mobile device, a pencil is not too far a stretch. Begin looking over your notes and handouts that same night of school when your teacher says, “You’ll have a test in a week.” Read over the notes. Find the right definitions on your vocabulary quiz if you mixed some of them up. Just prepare.

Welcome!
Yesterday was the first day of the 2018-2019 school year. It went well. I only had to open about one dozen lockers all day long. That is a record! We completed a “getting to know you” activity yesterday and then covered policies and procedures today. We start working on essential geography information next week, so be on the look out. The students have learned that I like to talk about food and have a good sense of humor. They also know that we turn in work to Grumpy Cat’s basket. I sent home a syllabus for you to look at. I enjoyed seeing some of my new students this year at Cougar Camp last night. It was great seeing some of my former students as NJHS student leaders guiding the way for the new kids on the block. You’ll learn more about my class once school starts, so hang on and wait for it. Wait for it. Wait for it!
