A number of my students looked at The Dallas Morning News online today. Here is how to get there. Visit www.nieonline.com/dallas and type in Johnson for the teacher name. The password is 75035. You can navigate around and find interesting nonfiction to read. I will also be sending an email to our class groups before I leave the building today. Check your Google account. Take care! We will be back in class tomorrow, dear ones!

On-level students need to complete and bring in their charts about their Caribbean island. Stuck on architecture type? Check out www.worldinfozone.com and you should be good to go.
PAP students need to complete page 68 from their Springboard Workbook in GoogleDocs. Answer 1-4, and you’re good to go. We will turn them in on Monday, January 9.
On Monday, I’ll be sporting a beautiful Texas A&M University shirt of some sort, and I’ll expect to see lots of maroon and white supporting my alma mater, or consequences may follow. . . Just kidding. Wear your college shirts on Monday, and I’ll see you then. Take care, and God bless!

We are finishing our big quiz from Walk Two Moons in my PAP English classes today. After the quiz, you’ll need your Springboard Workbook. When you’re all done with my work, you may read your SSR book.
My on-level classes will be taking their daily oral language/sentence fragments and runons quiz today in class after we check their sentence structure homework pages. They should bring their SSR books to read after their classwork today.

PAP students, your vocabulary quiz will be on Monday, December 12. No, you won’t use your lists but your fabulous memories to help you. You may start studying on Thursday, December 8!

Confidential to my baseball-loving students: When I watch the Rangers, they don’t do well. When I keep up with my phone and check on the scores they do well in the game. I promise to keep up with the game on my phone tonight. Go Rangers!!!
