We have concluded our study of the eight parts of speech with a quick overview of interjections yesterday in class.  I showed my students the Schoolhouse Rock short “Interjections,” and I think they liked it.  I remember watching Schoolhouse Rock as a girl, and I always enjoyed the songs and the learning.  Go figure.  We have a preposition test on Tuesday, March 31.  I gave them the review today in class, and we will check it tomorrow.  Next week, I will be reviewing them over the eight parts of speech, and I have a cool way to wrap it all together.  No peeking!  All shall be revealed in due time.  The interim progress report period ends tomorrow, and progress reports will go home next week.
