My kids made a valiant effort in the canned food drive, and I am so very proud of them and their parents for the effort, but we fell short today, even with 179 items brought in.  We ended up with total of 326 items.  One of the seventh grade classes brought in 109 yesterday and 307 today, and their total was 416.   Oh, well, maybe next time, but next year you will be my competition.  🙂
