I was extremely pleased with the test results for the diagramming test given today.  Check the Home Access Center since I have them posted already.  I am giving a sentence structure quiz on Friday, February 12; they have a science project due on Wednesday and a social studies test  and math test on Thursday.  I mentioned it in class today.  They will be asked to identify the basic structures of sentences:

Simple – one independent clause

Compound- two or more independent clauses with a coordinating conjunction and a comma separating them or else a semicolon

Complex – one independent clause with one or more dependent clauses
