Short Story Typing for On-level English

On Monday, October 17, I will meet our students in the Integration lab to type their final drafts of their short stories.  I have their rough drafts with me and will give them back to them as soon as they get into class and get settled, logged in, and ready.  Because the project is due on Wednesday, October 19, I will stay after school in the Integration lab until 4:00 P.M. on Monday and Tuesday afternoons so that they can get finished.

1.  If they finish typing, they can print their final copy and turn it in on Wednesday, October 19.
2.  If they don’t finish typing but have access to a computer at home, they may need to bring a flash drive to save their work.  We will use Microsoft Word 2007.  If your home machine has Word 2003, then we can save it in the compatible format.
3.  If they don’t finish  typing and don’t have access to a home computer and/or printer, then they will need to stay after school on Monday or Tuesday or both as need be.
4.  The school’s integration lab is open each morning at 7:55 A.M. and is available to your student to use with a signed pass from you.
5.  Mrs. Nobles’ room is usually available during tutorials in the mornings and afternoons.
